Nobody is Perfect!

Today was my first rough day at work.  Have you ever been in an environment where you just aren't sure what exactly you should be doing?

That was me today.

I felt like I was getting in people's way and just did not quite know where I was supposed to be.  I also messed up on two orders and even forgot to put a filter in the pour over coffee….. SIGH!!

So of course I got talked to by my boss because she knows and I know that I can do better than that.  So Saturday I will be working harder at just going with the flow and believing I can do it!!! No one is perfect!!!

On another note, I am very happy that our government came to an agreement (even if it is temporary).  This means my hard working Army husband will get paid after all.
BIG RELIEF!!!  I was almost hyperventilating when the pay stub say less than half of what we normally get!! I hope that Congress can get their act together so our hard working soldiers get the pay that they deserve!

Now you must hear about my weekend!  I finally got to attend church here on the Army post, which actually turned out very nice.  I was a little weary of it because I was under the impression it would be super Army-like, and I wouldn't fit in.

This was not the case at all.

No one really said anything to me, (which is good because I like to stay to myself at church!).  Even though no one talked I got a sense of ease when I walked in.

I will continue to church shop though, just because I want to make sure I try all of the churches my friends have suggested.  One day I will have my home church!!

After church I went to this little hot dog and beer bar in Tacoma.  I went with a couple girlfriends not knowing if this place was going to be good or anything.
IT WAS!!!! First of all, the prices were AMAZING.  I spent $5 on a beer and nachos.
So delicious.
Plus, the environment was nice, casual, and friendly.
I will definitely go back there!

After that we went to this little cupcake shop also in Tacoma.  I chose a pink champagne cupcake.

It was pretty much the best cupcake I have ever eaten :)

The night then continued with cake with homemade ice cream and wine while we watched Army Wives and Coming Home.  

Pretty epic.
